This antique vase is beautifully painted with birds and floral branches. The feathers on the birds' chests and the blossom are particularly thickly applied and realistic (see photos). I think it may be Bohemian. It is 25 cm tall and 11.5 cm diameter, and clearly hand-blown (see photo). The colour is a very pale yellow - almost green as I look at it without the light on it. There is an applied bobble design around the rim, and the gilding ...on this and on the neck is a little rubbed.
