THE CLOCKThis is a beautiful French 8 day thick embossed Gilt bronze cartel wall clock dating to around 1870, the clock has some very exceptional details with raised embossed patterning to the front and its raised curved bronze shape which gives it the name cartel, to the top there is an embossed thick bronze finial mount which really sets the clock off. Superb Quality clock made from top quality materials which is really heavy, lot of fine detail which would be a credit to any room. ... Signed by japy freres.The movement is fully working and has just undergone a service.
