Up for auction this evening is this prim raggedy bunny rabbit folk art doll. She’ almost 18”tall not counting her ears. She’s made from aged Osnaburg. She has bead eyes stitched on and a stitched mouth. Her nose is a separate piece of fabric that I prim stitched on, stuffed and dry brushed with light pink and aged. Her whiskers are sisal rope. Her ears are wired and bendable and prim stitched on. Her shoes are painted and sanded. Her dress is blue stars and red and white stripes,... well they were white till I aged it. Her bloomers, tie, and bow are all made from navy blue homespun. I tied a rusty to her bow and also to her shoes. She holds three patriotic flowers with rusty bells tacked in the centers. The stems are wired so you can bend them how you like. This little bunny would love to come and live at your home. She would look great setting on a shelf or in an old chair. She would also make a great gift for a prim friend. I hope you will love her as much as I loved making her All my dolls are made one at a time with lots of time and TLC.
