His work has been shown widely in Europe, the U.S., Japan, Australia and Canada. He was named Man of the Year in New York in 1985, and was awarded the American Scandinavian Cultural Prize of 1995. He was an important designer for the Rosenth...al porcelain company and for Nymolle, a Danish pottery.
