This offer is for a very nice STORE DISPLAY Copy of an EMPTY cd Longbox by David Bowie of the album release called " Changes Bowie " . This Longbox release was originally issued in 1990 on the Ryko Records label with a CAT. NR . RCD 20171. The nostalgic CD LONGBOX was popular in record & cd stores during the early 1980's through the early 1990's . This cardboard longbox protected the condition of the cd & jewel case and provided a nice graph...ical marketing tool as well. The Longbox gave way, by the mid-90's, to the more simple form of shrink wrap protection. Now, only a select few titles become available in a longbox packaging for retail. These longboxes are in demand for avid fans adding to one's personal album or cd collection. You can Hang them on a Wall or Place them on a Shelf for Decor of your Office , Dorm Room , or Entertainment Area of your house. Many Collectors & Avid Fans today place and store their own cd's back inside the Longbox as well.
This Empty longbox measures 5 3/4" w X 12 1/2" h X 1/2" d . The cd was removed from the bottom of the longbox a number of years ago. The condition of this empty longbox is in fairly Nice condition - but with no shrink wrap - and still has its dimensional integrity. This longbox has Never been flattened , but has been removed from its original shrink wrap . This longbox was cut open with a razor blade at the very bottom and the bottom flaps were pulled open very nicely - to remove the cd a number of years ago. There is some extremely slight shelf wear signs - due to the removal of shrink wrap. There is a slight 1" inch diagonal surface crease in the very upper-right corner on the front side - that is hardly noticeable for front side viewing. There are a few very slight edge wear signs that are hardly noticeable. There is some light tape or label residue on the bottom flap and at the very bottom on the back side that are not noticeable for front side viewing.
Again, this longbox is empty and No CD is Included with this purchase .
