Beautiful, VERY EARLY, A. W. Faber calculating slide rule with original leather case. Made in Germany - with English text. This model was produced from 1897-1906. It is made from boxwood with celluloid facings. 7 scales. 10 inch length of scales. Conversion chart on back in English. Square bevel cursor lens. In very good condition, with typical wear for its age. The only real flaw with the rule is chart on the back being a little worn. Otherwise, the cursor slides smoothly, all the facings are i...n great condition, and the gradations are crisp and legible. The leather case is marked "Lawrence Engineering Service". Would be a great addition to any collection. Please review pictures and feel free to ask questions. See my other listings for more slide rules, and other vintage tools.
