For sale is a tin friction JTT-14 racer made by Nomura of Japan. The racer measures 12 inches or 30 centimeters long and it has been gently customized at some point in the past. The head of the driver is the only part of the racer that is not original. Everything else is original to the JTT-14 race car. The racer is in good, played with condition with paint and graphics that are vivid and colorful. (As far as I know, the JTT racers were made in this silver blue color or in a black and ...red color.) There is some wear to the paint, some scratches and chips in the paint but the blue silver color is all original. There is some touch ups and repainting done to the red parts of the racer but it looks very good. The tires and base are in very nice condition; the friction motor works at times but at times skips. There are no hubcaps on the tires but the owner of the car polished the inner metal parts of the wheel to give a pleasing balance to the wheels. This is a really nice tin friction racer that has been customized to the last owner's individual taste. It is not stock but it is a really nice take on a classic tin friction racer. The original black and red version is pictured on page 205 of the great Big Book of Tin Toy Cars Commercial and Racing Vehicles. Thanks for looking!!!!
