Item up for sale is a wonderful vintage Zippo standard size lighter made for National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. This piece has the Zippo marking on the underside of the base with markings showing it was made in 1973. The serviceman who originally owned it hand engrave his name "Flossie L. Sigmon" onto the front of the lid. On the back he put his name on a label affixed to the back. Hinge has a small nail being used as a replacement hinge pin. The engraved building and... wording on the front shows some paint wear as you can see in the photos. The insert bears the Zippo marking and has 16 wind holes in total. Item will need fluid and flint to operate as intended. Casing shows no holes, dents, gouges or cracks. Great piece that comes fresh to the market from a recent estate buyout. Due to the rising cost of shipping supplies we have been forced to follow many other professional sellers in charging a handling fee.
