Antique 1920s Chinese mah jong set made of hand carved bovine bone and bamboo wood. It is housed in its own custom rosewood carrying case with embellishments in engraved white brass. Front lid features carved Chinese characters and is removable by sliding the panel up and out of box. Interior has five drawers or compartments for housing mah jong tiles, counting sticks, dice, and additional tokens.
