DOWNSIZING/ CLEAROUT SALE;On the back of an epic inheritance estate sale which concluded recently, My Husband and I are now downsizing/ clearing out, and disposing of our own lifetimes collection of Antiques, collectables and bric a brac....Everything is priced to sell, it's all got to go.....----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *****150 listed items all at 99p, with some paintings thrown in for good lu...ck' ....push past the buy it now paintings to discover the 99p auction starts******----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------You are bidding for our BEAUTIFUL and Utterly Stylish, totally Original, Antique-Vintage 20thC, Art Glass Vase.One from a collection of Art Glass pieces, all listed separately...Here we have a MAGNIFICENT, and incredibly BEAUTIFUL hand blown art glass vase in the shape of a flower known as a 'Jack-in-the-pulpit', or as some Glass houses call them, Tulip. This is traditionally a very strong Art Nouveau influence, c1900-1919, but this particular vase could have been made any time during the 20thC.It has a snapped pontil and the GORGEOUS cloud flecked like pattern interspersed with controlled bubbles is very reminiscent of works by Caithness. In fact I have found a number of 'Jack in the Pulpits' by Caithness but am unable to confirm for sure that this is by that manufacturer.It could be British or Czech/Bohemian-Austrian.Age wise, could be c1900-1910, but if you said 1990's it could be equally plausible.
