Up for auction is an EXTREMELY RARE c1755 CHELSEA DERBY PORCELAIN BILLING DOVES COVERED TUREEN BOX JAR. A very fine and extraordinarily rare c1755 Chelsea porcelain billing doves lidded box. We have sold many dozen 18th century Chelsea examples over the past four decades of selling such treasures. This is likely the rarest example we have offered and we Fully Guarantee this box to be authentic and of the period. We have seen a larger size tureen with this identical design but never a small size tureen of box like this. Likely one of very few still in existence today well worth looking into this boxes value, which we believe is substantial.

Condition: Very fine with no chips crack or repairs. Closely inspected under UV light that reveals no hidden damage. The dove box is in top notch Museum investment-grade condition as seen.
Size: The doves measure 7 1/4 inches long, by 2 1/2 inches wide and 3 inches tall.
