Up for auction is a RARE & LARGE MEISSEN CHINOISERIE CHINESE LANDSCAPE DRESSER JAR JEWELRY CASKET. A very fine and authentic first-quality Meissen example. In a very desirable Chinese landscape Chinoiserie decor the figures and designs all being embossed and finely hand painted. We believe this is off a very early c1735 Meissen design. We are not sure of the boxes exact age we believe it would be at the very least 100 years old if not 19th century. A nice large size box that displays beautiful and is of investment-grade.
Condition: Very fine condition with no damage and no repairs does not appear to have ever bene used by pristine condition inside and out.
Size: The box is a larger size than more commonly found measuring 5 1/2 inches long, by 4 3/4 inches wide and 4 1/4 inches tall. I have included an image with a regular tea spoon for size comparison.
