Description: Rare example of a large Ysart Bros 'fountain' paperweight, dating to the 1950s - 60s. This is a neat example with thin twist arms, and a thin mottled purple ground. The fountain rises from a green disk, which is surrounged by twist spokes and two rings of millefiori canes. It looks somewhat delica...te for a typical Salvador Ysart piece, so may be by one of his sons. Tiny patch of translucent cullet/bubbles just below the surface on one side. Fire polished base with typical partially ground out pontil mark.
Size: diameter 3 1/8 inch / 79 mm; height 2 3/8 inch / 62 mm.
Condition: very good; no chips, bruises, or scratches other than a little shelf wear on the base rim. Please remember this is not a brand new item - it is over 50 years old, and so you may be able to find minuscule marks elsewhere if you search using a magnifying glass.Combined shipping: I will always combine shipping to give you the best price available.Postal services and chargesI aim to charge you the actual cost to me for postage and packing, and to provide a 5 star service throughout the transaction.
