This is a wonderful large shino glazed pitcher, or jug, by the legendary Minnesota ceramic artist Warren Mackenzie, now deceased. His functional work is what defined the Mingeisota pottery movement. Mr. Mackenzie was an apprentice of Bernard Leach. Mr. Ma...ckenzie's work is always beautifully done, a pleasure to look at, and also always functional. The wonderful shino glazed pitcher, or jug, is expertly made and is quite beautiful. I have never used the piece, and it is in new, unused condition. This jug has Mr. Mackenzie's double stamps near the base.
The pitcher, or jug, is 6.75"W, with handle X 10.5"T. Mr. Mackenzie's double stamps are near bottom of the jug.
