DAVID BOWIE DAVID BOWIE Description Scarce and highly collectible original first printing concert poster advertising legendary DAVID BOWIE at the Ruhrlandstadion in Bochum [Germany] on Wednesday, 15th June, 1983, in support of the Let's Dance album, Bowie's fifteenth studio album, produced by Nile Rodgers and released on 14th April, 1983. The title track became one of Bow...ie's biggest hit singles, reaching #1 in the UK and US. Further singles included "Modern Love" and "China Girl", which both reached #2 in the UK.
The poster measures 59.1 x 83.7 cm (approx. 23.3 by 33 inches) and is beautifully printed in blue ink on thin, light coated paper stock. There are a few faint vertical crease marks running down the middle of the poster and a tiny rip to the bottom left corner, else in near excellent unfolded condition.
