A-10 Warthog 30mm Barrel Slice. This is a generous sliced section of a barrel from a GAU-8 Avenger gun, which is a 30mm rotary cannon used on the A-10 Thunderbolt II, more commonly known as the "Warthog". This slice came from a barrel with actual combat history. The A-10's were and are presently serving in Iraq and now Afghanistan. The riflings are still in beautiful condition after 40/50 thousand rounds were fired through the barrel. Additional aircraft info/data sheets will be ...sent with the item.
The barrel slice is in used condition and is approximately 2" in diameter and almost 1" thick. It will make a great addition to your military or aircraft collection or displayed on your desk as a paper weight or conversation piece.
