This is a beautiful and iconic STEUBEN - Carder era Verre de Soie melon shaped perfume bottle. The base has 8 lobes and is iridized verre de soie, it is semi transparent and reflects shades of [ink, blue, green and yellow as you move around it or turn it in your hand.The stopper/dobber is vivid Jade Green opaque glass shaped like a closed tulip.The base has a polished pontil. No signature, which was most often the case on smaller pieces.Hand Blown in Corning, ...NY. c. 1904 - 1932. Overall the bottle is in very good condition. There is a small fleabite on the rim. I tried to photograph this, but it is hard to see.The tip of the dobber broke off.
