LARGE Enoch Wood's Burslem England Blue Platter perfect for THANKSGIVING! Platter is used with slight wear on back of platter (see photos for reference). Platter measures 21 x 17 inches, and is a fantastic example of vintage English China Transferware, featuring an ornate depiction of a turkey grazing in an open field surrounded by roses and fauna. Established in 1865 by Absalom Wood and... his son Thomas Francis Wood, Woods and Sons would go on to make pottery until 2005 when the company finally closed leaving behind such treasures like this now rare platter! They do not make them like this anymore!
