An original 1897 Parker Brothers The Black Cat Fortune Telling Game in original box, complete with 24 cards, plus directions. Made in Salem, Mass. There are 4 of each card: DANGER!, THE PAST, GENERAL ADVICE, THE PRESENT, THE FUTURE, LOVE MATTERS. Great graphics. Great color. Wonderful condition for its age; no musty smell. Box is still strong, Graphic front on box is wonderful. The color on all the cards is still vibrant. No rips or... writing on any of the cards or box. Cards are still thick and strong. There are 4 cards that have minimal isolated fade spots but nothing major at all. I bought this at an estate sale 20 years ago, and have had it stored nicely all this time in a smoke free home.
