A real pretty sapphire blue 1880s Harden Star Hand Grenade Fire Extinguisher bottle with vertical ribs.......It has a large star embossed in circle with STAR in middle..... HARDEN HAND GRENADE FIRE EXTINGUISHER (bold emb in raised band around middle of bottle (note that there is no 'S after HARDEN)....Round with vertical ribs around bottle....sunken circle on bottom with deep grooveHand blown in mold....snapped off sheared collar (probably broken off clean?)....beautiful sapphire or pe...acock blue.....6"tall....I believe the top part of lip was broken clean off with sharp edges; a couple chips on the surface but actually looks pretty nice on display. No other damage. Some light inside content haze, but not bad. This "Fire Grenade" acted like a grenade....it was to be thrown at the base of a fire.
