Outstanding vintage mid-century Nymolle Denmark bowl dish. This is by the renown Danish artist Bjorn Wiinblad, known for his whimsical works. The dish is titled "Salute" and also numbered 3107. Marked with Bjorn Wiinblad's full signature both in the design lower left, and on the back with the Nymolle marking. Depicts a wondrous landscape with arching bridge and a river. There are there women with parasols on the bridge. Three men in a boat on the river, two of whom are tipping their ha...ts at the women. There are a pair of young lovers sprawled on the grass in the foreground. All done in blue on white. The bowl measures 11" long x 8 3/4" wide x 2" deep. There is a hanging wire on the back. It is in excellent condition, direct from a clean smoke-free South Jersey estate. A wonderful find for the discriminating collector.
