DESCRIPTION: Impressive Tony Evans Raku pottery plate. This vintage piece is in excellent condition for it's age with no visible cracks or chips. Tony Evens passed away in 2009 and has won numerous awards for his life work and was a Distinguished Life Member (and past VP) of the American Ceramics Society. This piece was purchase...d from his studio by me in the early 1980's at the height of his Ceramic career and has been kept in the original wooden box in a non smoking home.
