Pretty good vintage condition Fiesta salt and pepper shakers up for bid.
One of the shakers is the original red glaze and the other is the cobalt blue glaze. They both shows signs of use. The red one has a pretty good size chip and a small chip at the base (picture 11). The cobalt one has a chip on the bottom (picture 12). Overall not too bad for their age which should be about 75 years old. They appear to be between the years of 1936 - 1944. The salt a...nd pepper shakers back then were not sold as pairs. I am by no means an expert on these items.
They both measure approximately 2 1/2" tall, the base is about 1 7/8" and the circumference is about 7 1/2". The stoppers both have damage and are in side of the shakers. There are 7 holes on the top of each shaker.
Even with the flaws these would make a great addition to a collection especially if they are going to be display pieces.
The items are preowned and may have minor cosmetic flaws but I do my best to describe them as accurately as possible. There are many pictures to view so please look at all the pictures closely. Due to the items being pre-owned there will be expected normal wear.
