German Dresden Lace Porcelain Ballerina Figurine Crossed Swords MarkThe item being offered is a vintage Dresden porcelain figurine of a ballerina. She has a light blue lace draped tutu with white lace trim and an applied porcelain flower. Her top is also lace. She is standing on a base with gold trimmed edge. Her hair is brown with a gold decoration on one side, and her shoes are gold. The flesh parts are unglazed. She measures approximately 3 1/4" to the top of her hands. The mark on ...the bottom of the base is a pair of crossed swords with the letter M on the left hilt and the letter B on the right hilt. I believe this designates the maker as Martha Budich. Underneath the swords is "Germany", and below that is "Dresden". There is also an inventory number 107E. It is excellent condition with no damage to the lace, and the dancer's fingers are intact.
