Schumann Bavaria "Chateau" Dresden Flowers Open Work Reticulated 8-1/2" Plate . Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail or Select Ground - your choice.Stunning plate has extremely bright flowers, and the reticulation is exquisite, as you can see from the pix. This plate is perfect - on top. No chips, cracks, or crazing. However, on the bottom there seemed to be a strange extra bottom piece that is broken - it doesn’t affect the plate in any way, nor does it affect the way ...the plate sits. It affects nothing but that extra piece itself. I don’t know what its original purpose would have been. I don’t know if it was broken off at the pottery wheel, or what. At any rate, the plate is gorgeous and it is a final sale.
