I am listing these on behalf of my father. He loved gem stone hunting and civil war relics. He was part of the Virginia Gem and Mineral Society along with the Historical Society, so most times he was able to dig in an area before anyone else was allowed in. I would go with him occasionally and can 100% say these items are authentic and found around the Richmond, Petersburg, Chesterfield, Chester and Hopewell, areas. I used to live only a few miles away from “The Halfway House”. ...>Now, onto the box plates. There are two plates included in this lot. All latches are in good condition and intact. I have posted a picture of each plate, front and back. If you would like to see anything else on them I’d be happy to send.
