Original Description:
Very rare antique miniature carved ship figurehead. Highly detailed and deeply carved American folk art sculpture. Guaranteed to be mid to late 1800's. Old weathered surface with minor hairline cracks. I believe the figurehead represents a nautical version of the singer Jenny Lind who toured America in 1850 with P.T. Barnum. Measures 9" long.
