Description: A beautiful Northwood small purple Carnival Glass small round candy bowl having a round base/foot supporting it. The bowl has a beautiful raised design depicting strawberries on vines surrounding the flat center on the inside. The bowl has a ruffled edge with a toothed rim. The exterior of the bowl is undecorated but has beautiful p...urple iridescent coloring, while the decorated inside has a beautiful purple color. The design of this piece is just beautiful and the piece looks great and would display very nicely in your collection. Date: Uncertain but most likely early to mid 20th century.
Origin: USA
Size: Measures ~6" diameter on top, ~2 1/2" diameter at the base, and is ~2" high. The bowl weighs ~7 ounces.
Maker: Northwood Glass.
Marks: Underlined capital N within a circle on the bottom of the base.
Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: This is definitely a beautiful and colorful piece with vivid colors and well defined pattern. Definitely a quality piece worthy of a prominent spot in your collection.
