Original Description:
For your consideration, I am very pleased to offer this wonderful old antique glass jar with its original tin lid. This would have likely been a countertop or storage jar as it has a very wide mouth allowing for a hand or scoop to easily pass through. Both jar and lid are in very good condition with only minor signs of age and use. The lid retains its original, untouched surface with minor blemishes, including a few small dings and areas of oxidation. The jar has very good glass clarit...y and it is free from any chips or cracks. This is a perfect addition to an early jar collection or for daily use. It comes to you guaranteed as described from a smoke free home, and it measures approximately 7 x 4.25 inches across the mouth.  I welcome all questions and requests for additional pictures.   Thanks for taking the time to view my auction.
