Original Description:
Very early antique American sand toy automaton in VERY AS IS condition for restoration. Missing the hand and head from the right hand figure, very little sand left, no glass front and exterior box in somewhat poor condition, especially on the top as shown. I've never seen this version before so well worth restoring. Dates to the early part of the 3rd quarter of the 19th Century. Measures 7 1/4" tall by 9 1/4" long and 2 1/2" deep.
