Beautiful antique Old Abbey Limoges France hand painted floral/gold sugar bowl w/lid. Wonderful fine porcelain. Made in France, dated 1908-1913. This Old Abbey Limoges sugar bowl was produced by J. Granger, who had been with Latrille Freres porcelain company. He joined Mavaleix Fac. and became the head of the plant in 1922-1938. This is a HARD TO FIND piece with J. Granger monogram while he was still working with Latrille Freres.
The sugar bowl has a unique rose pattern border des...ign. Gold trim intact. Little wear due to age. Great condition, no chips, cracks, crazing or breakage. Excellent collectible item.
