Here is a wonderful vintage silverplate ice bucket that I believe was made in france. It has hallmarks on the bottom that look like a rooster or peacock head with some letters above it that look like a P, D or O then F E? with a line under those, also the number 15 which I believe would represent the plating thickness or weight. Overall the bucket is in pretty nice condition. There is an every so slight hard to see dent near the bottom, it is hard to see but you can slightly feel it wh...en you run you finger over it. You can also see a couple very minor pings on the very bottom, my photo makes it look larger than it really is. It will need polishing, but I think it will reveal a beautiful looking piece that was hardly used. There are no monograms. It stands 8 1/8" high and 7 3/4" across the top.
