Antique Gouda Holland ceramic porcelain vasehand painted with a leaf and floral design of green, blue and yellow, on a brown background.
Signed Gouda Holland 4 / 10 and a hallmark or flag imageIn very good original antique condition overall; beautiful design, nice size, stands flat; there is a smallish chip (less than 1/4" x 1/8" on the top rim (see photo #3, also can see one on the bottom in this photo), and there are two chips on the base (see photo #4) and two flea bites on the b...ase (I hadn't noticed these two until now when listing the vase - they are hardly noticeable but mentioned for accuracy). Pricing is based on these relatively minor condition issues. The glazing / finish is very nice; I don't see any crazing.
This is quite old; not sure the exact vintage but perhaps close to 100 years old.
Vase is about 5" tall, top opening diameter is 1 1/3", base is 3" diameter.
