You are bidding on a WWIIera (circa 1945), Soviet Order of the Red Star. The order is used and is in good condition with limited signs of wearand age. The order is made of silver and hot enamel that has no enamel loss or damageThe screwback fastener is in good working order and the screw post isstraight. The order bears the Moscow mint mark and isnumbered: 1985828, which dates the order between 12 to 26 April 1945. The Order of the Red Star established on 6April 1930, ...and awarded to military personnel of the Soviet Union as well as borderand internal security forces, employees of the State Security Committee as to: units, warships, associations, enterprises, institutions and organizations; as well as to military personnel of foreigncountries. During WWII it was primarily awarded for personal courage andbravery in battle and for excellent organization and leadership skills incombat.
