This auction offers a pair of large, quite beautiful Chinese export lidded jars with a pale green ground and enamel painted scenes and objects on all sides. The jars are about 13-1/2" tall and 7-1/2" in diameter at the shoulder. They have stickers underfoot indicating the porcelain was made in Taiwan and then the pieces were hand painted and re-fired in Hong Kong by... Maitland-Smith, Ltd.
