Up for bid is a rare Royal Bayreuth Pottery covered jar featuring a peasant boy and multiple donkeys. This vintage jar, marked with the pottery's blue mark, stands 4.25" high with the lid on. This jar is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. There is a very tiny glaze nick on the upper edge of the jar (please see pic. 8) that is almost unnoticeable and completely unseen with the lid on.
I'm helping my two oldest children liquidate the items, they don't ...want, from their mother's (my ex-wife's) estate. She was a collector, mainly of vintage pottery, and had a pretty good eye. Over the next 4 to 5 weeks, starting every Thursday, I'm going to be listing 10 to 20 items from the estate. I am happy to offer combined shipping on any items won in the same week.
