Offering a unique Mineral & Sands Mission Swirl pottery vase. It stands approximately 6-1/2" high x 2-1/4" diameter at rim. Hand-crafted and glazed on the outside in a palette of black, brown, green and ivory. The inside is un-glazed and the texture of the swirl can be felt.Stamped on bottom: "Mission & Sands Pottery, Boulder City Nevada, Hand Made."NOTE: Evans Desert Sands Pottery was re-branded for a short time as Mission & Sands.(See more ...info below.) Their art graces many southwestern, mid-century and minimalist modern homes. Originally sold as tourist trinkets, the unique colors are derived from natural minerals and clays that were kneaded like bread to blend into the marble-like pattern. No two pieces are exactly alike.
