I upload audio of almost every 7" single Ilist for sale on Youtube, recorded with a sensitive hifi cartridge and neveredited or cleaned up. You can find my channel by searching ?Naturality Discogs'on Youtube, where you'll find thousands of fantastic singles uploaded alreadyin 2019 alone, with a number of tracks which previously weren't available tolisten to anywhere on the net. If you're using a system configured for DJing(with a cartridge like the industry standard Shure M44-G/M44-7 or OrtofonConcorde) you'll find that any singles which play with some noise or crackleswill sound a world better on your decks.Listing InformationArtistWayne ChanceTitleSend Her To Me / Just A Little Bit O'Lovin'LabelWhirlybird Records (2)Cat#2006Format7", SingleGradeStrong Very Good Plus (VG+)CommentsSuperbly glossy strong VG+ to EXgraded vinyl which looks close to unplayed. Grading overview_________________
Accurate and honest grading is one of if not themost important responsibility of any record dealer and is much more of an artthan running through a list of check-boxes. As such, I offer the belowdescriptions as a rough overview of the standards in place for each grade.
Any issues present from pressing such ascloudiness, pimples or pits as often seen in Jamaican reggae pressings will beclearly identified. The same is to be said for feelable marks; regardless ofhow small or smooth/light a mark may be, should it be feelable upon carefulinspection with a fingertip it will be identified in the description, even ifthere is no audible effect as a result. These will typically result in a lesservisual grade being given, with feelable marks being a heavily weighted factorin grading.
Near Mint is a grade which I do not use withouttotal confidence that you will agree.
EX; Some 90% or so of the items which I willgrade as EX will be items which I have purchased from others who have graded asNear Mint. An EX graded record should not display any deterioration in sheen, revealing only very minor brushings from dust or sleeve removal in a low numberwhen closely inspected under a powerful lamp. Without close inspection an EXgraded record should appear as though it was pressed this week.
Strong VG+; As per the above, what I consider asa ?Strong VG+? retains a very high standard of cleanliness and should look tohave seen minimal play. Records graded ?Strong VG+? may display a very sparingnumber of faint marks. In many cases a ?Strong VG+? record may appear close tounplayed with a faint inaudible mark or two.
VG+; May have seen occasional use with adequatecare. Surfaces should still retain a high standard of cleanliness with anallowance for some light, unfeelable marks. A VG+ graded record should notleave you longing for a cleaner copy (unless of course you are a very seriouscollector looking for unplayed/archive copies)
VG; The typical VG graded record should be fitfor home listening and DJing alike. Surfaces may display a higher frequency ofgeneral whispy paper sleeve brushings and some light marks, but should stillretain a healthy amount of sheen. By my standards a VG graded record is farfrom ?battered? or ?trashed?, there simply has to be a cut off for what isaccepted as a VG+. As such, I would rather grade a record on the lower end ofVG+ as a ?Strong VG? in order to keep these standards in place.
VG-; The typical VG- graded record will fit theabove description, but may display a lower standard of cleanliness with somelight marks throughout, a lessened sheen (though still holding a sheen orreflective appearance) or perhaps a few feelable marks. As always, playbackwill be commented on and reasoning for the grade will be given. Though theremay be some surface-noise, crackles or such, the average VG- graded record willstill be played and enjoyed by myself on a sensitive hifi as-is but will likelybenefit from a DJ cartridge and some EQ.
G+; Records graded G+ may have seen frequent useover the years with adequate care, hold a lesser sheen with some lightunfeelable marks throughout or may fit the above grades with some largerfeelable marks or scuffs. Depending on the pressing and the specific instancesof wear present, a G+ record may very well sound fantastic as-is or may requiresome EQing and a DJ cartridge to reach an enjoyable standard of playback.___________
Packaging___________
I have never purchased an LP which has beenpackaged better the standard of packaging I use for every LP I send.
LPs are shipped well-protected and neatlypresented with poly-lined innersleeves and new poly outersleeves.
Likewise, I have never purchased a 7? single ascleanly and well-presented than the standard set for every 7? single I send.
Singles are cleaned, placed in a cleaninnersleeve inside of a brand new white cardboard masterbag, which is thenplaced inside of a brand new, high quality PVC outersleeve.
At my own expense I have taken the steps toensure that my packaging is friendly to the environment, with 100% of thepackaging used being recyclable card (and yes, that does in fact include thetape)._________________________
Postage and Packaging Rates_________________________
The price you pay for shipping is never morethan what it costs me, in fact I often pay the Post Office more than you willbe charged. I also cover the costs of packaging myself.
For international orders and LPs in particular Ioffer a discounted postage rate to try to help out with the costs ofinternational shipping.
Please note that in the rare circumstance thatan international parcel does not arrive, Royal Mail require "20 workingdays after the due date for items in Europe, after 25 working days for rest ofworld" before they will consider an item as lost, should they not be ableto confirm delivery. Until this period has passed I am unable to attain anyfurther information other than that provided by the tracking number, should theparcel have been sent via Tracked & Signed. If this period should pass thenI am always sure to keep all of the paperwork to file a claim right away for thevalue of the parcel should it be confirmed as missing.
