Beautiful cast iron beeswax rollers for the production of honeycombs.The rollers are in good condition and turn freely.The rollers are 10 inches long.The mill is 14 inches high.The cells are 4mm.
The handle is not permanently attached to the mill. It will turn the rollers, but does not fit on tightly. We are not sure if the crank is original or not, but it does work. If you wanted a tighter fit a machinist could tap it and secure it ...more permanently.
This is an exceptional and rare piece, with an ornate scrolled frame. It would make an incredible addition to any vintage beekeeping collection or museum, as well as being a very solid and beautiful machine for someone who is currently producing authentic beeswax honeycombs.
