Selling my Lie-Nielsen 4-1/2 Smooth Plane. I bought this plane new in 2004 and have used it on occasion since then, but not enough to keep it around, since I now exclusively use wooden bodied planes. It is a great plane to use, and I highly recommend any Lie-Nielsen plane.Please carefully look at the photos for condition. I want you to be happy with your purchase, so please ask any questions you may have.There is some loss of paint on the front, left edge as you can s...ee in the photos. There is also some minor imperfections and a ding to the edge on the back. Some tarnishing of the brass is present, and some very minor surface rust I see on one of the internal frog adjustment parts, which can be seen in the pictures. The slot of the chip breaker screw has a few dings.The iron has been sharpened carefully in the past, but could use a light touch up.This comes with all the original packaging you see. Note that the box has a rip in one corner, which was there when I bought it.
