This auction is for a copy of The Double Life of Private Strong 1 in Very Good Plus condition (4.5), the first Silver Age Superhero comic published by Archie Comics in June, 1959 and featuring a gorgeous Simon and Kirby cover with S&K artwork, as well. This issue featured the origin and re-introduction of the Shield, as well as the first appearance of the Fly. This copy has slight rippling along the right edge from it having gotten wet at some point in the far ...distant past. There are also creases at the corners and some nicks, and stress lines at the spine and edges, but it is a really nice looking book!I'm not an expert grader, but I think you'll be very happy with this one.The pictures tell the stories.There isn't much to say about this one except that you'll love it!US buyers pay $4.50 shipping.I combine shipping, so figure give or take about 75 cents for each additional book but I can ship up to 60 comics in a medium flat rate box for $12.00... so once you reach a dozen books, there's no additional shipping charge.
