This STANLEY NO. 45 COMBINATION PLANE is culled from the remains of a comprehensive private tool and machine collection. Ninety-five percent of the collection was sold at an estate sale conducted at the owner's machine shop in Waterbury, CT. Though he specialized in the restoration/conservation of horological antiques he assessed and acquired all manners of manufacturing equipment.
-Sweetheart logo on the main stock, beneath the handle-full assortment in original box-there are a few... spare parts including, 1) an extra unmarked cam stop, 2) one spare thumbscrew, and 3) one extra slitting cutter (one is attached to the main stock, one is accounted for in photo 5)-the age-worn slotted screwdriver is a Stanley but probably does not belong with the original assortment
