Vintage 1940's Gerstner Machinist Handyman's Wooden Tool Box VERY NICE & OLD!. Condition is Used.
Purchased at an estate sale. This is a great piece that has some obvious rework that was being done. The bottom two drawers do not have the original face on them. The previous owner must have been trying to restore it at some point. The two drawers on the bottom are otherwise original except for the face. The black lining doesn’t appear to be original either, but it was installed to f...it nicely. The front closure is also a remade piece that fits good and stays in place, but clearly isn’t there same shade of stain. The leather covered handle shows some wear. These are really hard to find and this one needs just a little TLC to be a very nice show piece.
