Vintage Finnish-made Billnäs 12 woodworking / bushcrafting axe with traditional birch haft. The head was made in the circa 1930s, 1940s or 1950s before the use of Billnäs trademark was abandoned by Fiskars. There is corrosion (rust) on the surface of the axe. The head is secured to the haft with wedges. See the photographs more more detailed view of the axe. The poll of the axe is suitable for e.g. pounding nails into wood.
