Truth be told, this isn't exactly our area of collecting, but a lot of folks love these things. This lady has 1000, give or take, sets of shakers. We went through some of them today and found some very hard to find and extremely rare sets of salt and pepper shakers that we'll be listing over the next several days. We will be going back and picking up more over the next couple days, so check back if these things are up your alley. For now, we'll start listing the first 50 sets of shakers we picked up.For sale is a cool set of vintage Sourdough Jake Gold Prospector salt and pepper shakers marked Kelvin on the bottoms.Both shakers have stickers on them that have Virginia City, Nevada on it, so we trust that's where these were originally sold.Doing a quick search, we believe these were made by Kelvin Ceramics who made their wares in Japan, but we could be wrong.The standing shaker is 4 1/16" tall and the one with Sourdough Jake sitting is 3 5/8" tall.Both pieces in this set are in excellent, vintage condition with no chips or cracks. We looked them over and didn't see any blemishes, or manufacturing flaws.This set will be shipped in a cardboard box viafirst class with the USPS.Thanks for lookingand God bless!
