This is a fabulous antique French religious medal pendant with Saint Bernadette, the locket holds a fabric that touched Saint Bernadette
Early 1900s
The medal is covered with a blue glass on one side, on the other the inscription " Maison mère des Soeurs de la Charité de Nevers" avec un crucifix et "Dieu seul" - Mother House of the Sisters of Charity Nevers with a crucifix an...d God Alone.
When you open the locket, you can see a small piece of white fabric and on the innerside of the locket lid it reads "etoffe ayant touché à Sainte Bernadette" (fabric that touched Saint Bernadette)
