a Roman soldier in the Guard of Emperor Diocletian, venerated as aChristian martyr. Made with Imperial Russian 84" silver. Similarobjects are dated c. 19th-20th century (according to the available literature).Covered with the original,
uncleaned patina from the past many centuries.Medal very attractive, even patina on the front indicates the authenticity ofthe product.
A superb example all through. The silver retains beautiful lusterthroughout, is essentially perfect. There are a no bumps or scratches especiallyvisible. The size of the pendant is shown on the photographs for this listing.
