very pretty little 3 drawer chest for jewelry or special trinkets. it looks like little coins inlaid on the front but I am not sure they are metal.  it is a small size of 6 inch high 5 1/2 wide and about 3 1/2 deep. there is some cracking on the lacquer on the dovetail joints as to be expected I am not positive it is Japanese. perhaps someone out there will let us know.
