Please don't writeand ask us if we have something other in parts than what is listed as wewouldn't know what it is anyway:...> We are owners of multiple small & large storage locker facilities in NM, AZ, CA, and NV. & collectables and antiques are not our main business. The things we sell on auction are items we find in units that rent has not been paid for and the contents abandoned. The majority of the funds from the sales after our costs go to a local charity that we very much support. Often we don’t know the age, maker, or any other information other than what we describe from our observation & inspection & we try to keep that simple. Past what we describe, we are not accountable for any further extrapolation of the buyer upon arrival of the purchase or purchases. The photos are our best description tool & we go to a great deal of effort to clearly post those. If we see damage we will describe that otherwise you may assume the item or items are in good condition without damage other than normal wear and age. Again, we are not authorities or experts and we don’t claim to be. It would be a waste of time to ask for information we have no knowledge of. All items are sold "as is" the way we found them. If the item is worth more than what you paid or less, respectively it doesn’t concern us. This is an auction, not a department store to return pink panties that don't fit. For clarification, please be informed that we sometimes use the word "antique" or "collectable" like antique advertising and that is only to describe the theme or style and has nothing to do with specific age. Again, we have described all that we know about this item or items up for auction and all sales are final unless we have accidently described something incorrectly and that is the only reason. We would need proof and not just opinion or conjecture. Because we are not slot machine people and we don't know the names of a lot of these things, we will simply just title things as slot machine parts and assign a letter to it for each auction for our reference and records. We did find a few notes with some things that do define items so we will use those in the title or description but please don't hold us to accuracy as we don't know if correct or not. No phone calls please for questions. Most of the parts came out of boxes marked Mills so we assume that is what it is but we will leave that up to the bidders who know more than us. A few things came out of other boxes individually tagged with different companies and if so, we will put that in the title or description. If we are in error, please don't hold it against us. The photo or photos are the main guide as to what any item is. If we see a break or damage to something we will try to describe. We use to start all our auctions at a penny in the true spirit of an auction. But if we offer a Buy it Now, the "piss" or "marking bidders" place a penny bid and then eBay deletes the "Buy it now". There is no intention of winning or placing a higher bid, they just want to follow the sale perhaps to see what their similar item is worth. So we have now changed our starting prices to a very modest much less that the estimated value of the item or items (or what we have seen similar sell for) with the expectancy it will go to a higher fair price at the end. We will entertain the possibility of changing to a Buy it Now if we receive a substantial offer higher than the start bid. We apologize for this change but necessity prevails. We don't know if this applies to parts or complete machines but to be on the safe side EBay requires we write the following. Due to laws regulating the sale of antique slot machines, we cannot sell to residents of Alabama, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nebraska, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Bids from members residing in any of these states will be canceled.
DESCRIPTION:
We opened a storage locker that the rent was notpaid on for a long time and located some interesting items in the world ofantique slot machines. We found aninstruction printout with these telling us the one on the left is for opening& straightening reel tins on a slot machine. The other on the right as you face the screenis for closing and tightening down the reel strips. This auction is for the tool on the right for closing up the reel tins. The other tool will be listed on anotherauction. We tried these on an oldmechanism we found in this storage locker and these tools work great. The quality is fantastic and we are guessingthese were made in the United States or Germany and not junk from Asia. Photos show them in black but the ones we have left have red handles. Same exact quality tool from same manufacturer, just a different colored handle. If you work on old slot machinesthese tools would be a wonderful time saving item to own and would make your finishedproduct superior. We also located some other interesting antique slot machine parts and will be listing those when we find the time to do so.P.S. We recently had a rocket scientist who was not the brightest crayon in the box win a pair of these. We originally found 88 pairs of these pliers and have been listing them for a long time with great success and now only a few pairs left. Never had a problem with any of the sales. But this idiot bids and wins one pair and thinks he gets both tools even though in bold red it defines what you do get as does the description not to mention the title. But he bids anyway and then when he finally gets his head out of his you know what or somebody reads it for him because he can't read, wants a refund before we even send the next day. Then he leaves a negative feedback because we waited a day saying we gave him attitude which we didn't but eBay deleted it as untrue. Sure takes all kinds of pukes to make the world go around doesn't it? So, please read the description as the auction is for one tool even for those too dumb to understand.
If you are outside the U.S.A and eBay quotes you a ridiculous cost for shipping as they often do, pay absolutely no attention to it. We can send insured for pennies compared to what eBay will try to gouge you for. We quote the shipping, not eBay who makes a percentage of the total so the higher they can make the cost, the more they make for themselves. We take extreme issue to that and their ethics.
