We are very pleased to offer For your consideration this antique Corpus Christi or body of Christ. This bronze corpus is 7 inches tall by 6 inches wide. It has a lovely patina Created by years of being on display. He is an excellent antique condition with no scratches or chips the metal was all handfinished on his body and you can still see the marks from the handwork. The detail on this corpus is exceptional. I find it very difficult to get a facial expression right especially in meta...l. This is beautifully executed in this crucifixWe have the privilege of having quite a few of these to sell. The money spent to acquire them was donated entirely to helping unemployed and homeless people. Religious articles of any faith are special to our business because we know that they help draw people closer to God. We asked if you purchase them you use them in a respectful manner. These would make great Replacement crucifixes for existing crosses, or corpuses for a handmade cross. At any rate we trust you will put them to good use.All of these crosses were sourced from the Chambéry area of France where the shroud of Turin used to be Housed.
